Abstract Submission Instructions:

  • All abstracts must be submitted electronically
  • After submitting your abstract successfully, you will receive a confirmation of the submission by e-mail.
  • Once the abstract is submitted, changes, corrections or re-uploading abstract are not possible.
  • Any modifications requested after the deadline is not accepted.
  • All the accepted abstracts will be published electronically as an abstract book only for registered delegates.
  • Please remember that submitting an abstract does NOT automatically register you as a conference delegate.
  • Conference registration can be done online at a later date.
  • The abstract will be evaluated on the basis of the clarity of objective, scope and method of approach, and significance of the results.
  • To encourage high-quality work among residents and attendance on the occasion of the SUA 34th, Best Abstracts Awards will be delivered in recognition of the most remarkable and outstanding research work in the field of each urology subspecialty.
  • In order to apply for the Best Abstracts Awards, applicants must make a registration and submit your abstract as a speaker and the first author.

Abstract Submission Guidelines:

  • Investigators must submit an abstract of original work up to 250 words to be considered for the competition.
  • The use of tables and graphics is limited to a maximum of 1 graphic and/or 1 table.
  • After the submission and editing deadline, all abstracts considered Complete will be forwarded to review.
  • Submissions with an Incomplete status after the submission or after dealine will not be considered for review.
  • Submitted abstracts are peer-reviewed by a panel of graders.
  • Abstract grading is blinded and selections for presentation are based solely on scientific merit.
  • There is no limit to the number of abstracts an author may submit. If an abstract is accepted, the presenter must be one of the co-authors listed.
  • If an author’s name appears on more than one abstract, it must be identical on each submission.
  • Do not list authors by initials only.
  • Abstracts should be structured into the following four (4) sections
    • Background
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusions
  • For video submission, it should represent an original research work and be submitted as an abstract (250 words + the video), describing a new surgical technique, a video of a rare case report surgical technique. The length of the video shouldn't exceed 7 minutes and 350 MB size.
